India : A coffee story (Vol. 2)

Continued from Vol. 1…
Served with a hot cup of freshly brewed arabica, we strolled out.
What a relaxing moment it was. The beauty of place should be witnessed in the morning. A perfect weekend getaway I must say.

Random findings
The same day I had a chance to visit the famous temple in kakkabe where I was invited to attendĀ naming ceremony of Dev’s newborn nephew.
Since that was the auspicious day, there were many families there to perform same ritual for their newborns. I took a chance to do some streets. More are there in Dev’s D90 mem card since we swapped the cams (for good).
I spotted a hyperactive kid, and this was the best chance to test the 6fps with 70-200 f/2.8..
From the temple.
If you minus the not-so-bad road, the drive from that temple to the homestay is really nice. We drove down, took rest and went again for a walk in the afternoon. The place was so beautiful that I did not want to loose time in sleeping.
Took some shots in the nearby another stream.

We were overwhelmed by this trip and the hospitality of Suman and his family. We were treated like his own family member, served with amazing food, and lots of love. To give an example of fooding, I had 7 idlis for breakfast versus my 3 normal, had 9 pooris versus 4 normal etc.
We took the Mangalore-Madikeri route back to Bangalore. Had a chance to drive on the newly-laid Mangalore-Madikeri highway which meets international quality standards with a scenic view. We took a short break to purchase home made wine and some took some time pass shots.
My car was literally smiling when driven on that road. Here is one image of her road presence. Courtesy Dev for this shot.
Overall a very relaxed and enjoying trip. I rate Naladi Homestay 5 star for their hospitality. An amazing place with sweet people.
Last but not the least I must thank Dev for this opportunity.
Dev before leaving for Election campaign.
Thank you all for watching.
